Paradanusorn School has approximately 700 pupils. Our school is located in the north of Thailand, near the Lao border and Chaing Mai. We mainly concentrate on low income families who want to give their children a good education. We are a family run school and have close contacts with our teachers and pupils. The pupils are aged between 3 and 15 years. The kids would really appreciate your help. Please come and give our kids a better and brighter future.

Cost: Warm Heart does not charge a participation fee or require a donation. Warm Heart does provide volunteers with a low cost housing, transportation and services package. The Warm Heart package for those staying up to three months is currently US$250 per month. It includes: housing (single or double in Warm Heart house with screens, western toilet, hot water, kitchen and internet; transportation (motorbike, car or shared transportation with Warm Heart staff; services (document preparation and translation for work permits, required health documents, visa extensions, etc). Volunteers should expect to spend about another US$250 per month on food, gas, telephone and entertainment.
Sakaerat Najas Project is aiming to collect data that will help develop a cobra bite prevention program in Sakaerat Biosphere Reserve, Thailand.
Location: Sakaerat Biosphere Reserve, Thailand
Volunteer Work: We seek field assistants to help with a cobra spatial-ecology project. NAUCRATES is an NGO organization based in Italy that operates in southern Thailand, focusing on wildlife conservation (endangered species like sea turtles), mangrove restoration, natural resources management and community development
Location: Phra Thong Island
Volunteer Work: We need project assistants for the Naucrates sea turtle conservation project for one of two periods every year (November to February or February to April). The specific tasks and responsibilities of project assistants include: helping the field leader coordinate volunteers, project activities and free time activities; conducting field research, especially beach monitoring and behavioural observation; data collection, entry and revision on a daily basis under the field leader’s supervision; training volunteers on project activities; organising awareness activities and lessons for local people and for volunteers. Candidates should have experience in turtle conservation projects or other fieldwork, possess a BSc in Biology or a related field, or be a student in a related field (i.e. biology, ecology, social sciences, environmental education, etc), be a responsible and mature person in good physical condition.
Commitment: 9-12 weeks
Cost: Accommodation and food is provided within the Lions Village at the Naucrates field station. Assistants cover their own travel expenses to and from the Island (including international travel), their own visa expenses and travel insurance.

Thai Street Paws Rescue is a charity organization that was started to aid Songkhla�s soi (street) dogs in their plight to find food, shelter, medication, and positive human socialization in hopes finding loving, forever homes. Thai Street Paws Rescue�s goal is to spay and neuter soi dogs to prevent litters of unwanted puppies, treat sick dogs, feed the hungry, and educate the community about animal welfare. Thai Street Paws Rescue is currently run by one woman and a few donors. Tamara, a teacher from Australia, is feeding and caring for over 40 street dogs on a daily basis. She also runs local shelter and fosters dogs in her home. As you can imagine, this is an overwhelming job for one person and volunteers would be extremely helpful in the mission to end Thialnd�s soi dog suffering.

Volunteer Work: We need vets and/or medical students who can provide spay/neuter services. Also needed are animal lovers who can help feed soi dogs, clean and maintain dog shelter, bathe dogs, walk dogs on leads, and help with socialization (via playing and training). Building skills for dog beds and dog houses are also very useful!
Commitment: 7 days minimum, 1 month maximum. Volunteers are requested to work 9am-5pm, four days a week
Cost: All housing accommodations will be provided (meals not included). Volunteers will be responsible for travel to Thailand. Songkhla is a 12 hour drive from Bangkok. If volunteer flies into Hat Yai, transport can be arranged from airport to housing in Songkhla City, free of charge.
Camillian Social Center Chiang Rai is dedicated to ensuring that all Hill Tribe children, including those poor, orphaned, or with special needs, and their communities are given the opportunity to build a better life. The Home of Charity, at Camillian, Chiang Rai, which has a Home School and Therapy Centre, is always looking for volunteers with the skills, qualifications and enthusiasm to help our children living with disabilities.

Volunteer Work: We need volunteers (minimum age 20) who can commit for at least 1 month. Especially needed are those with therapy qualifications, but we also welcome those with training in TEFL, dance, yoga, or media studies. We will ask you to work a 5 day week, which may include the weekend. Days are usually from 8am until 3.30pm. Most volunteers enjoy spending time with the children outside of these hours, walking in our beautiful grounds, swimming in our pool when the weather is hot enough etc, but you are also free to use one of our bikes to exploring the wonderful countryside near the Centre. On free days, you can take the bus into Chiang Rai city, approx 25 km away.

Khiang Rim Khong teach about safe sex, preventing HIV, STDs and unwanted pregnancies. We provide counselling, support, information and free condoms. At our office/house we have an on-site service center (the �small smile caf�), and support 4 more youth led service centers in Huay Sor sub-district, supporting young people to provide condoms, birth control and information to their peers.
Location: Huay Sor, Chiang Khong (about 1.5 hours from Chiang Rai, 30 km outside the centre of Chiang Khong)

Ban Nai Soi Community Learning Centre (BNSCLC) provides a high school level education to the refugees and migrant children from Burma (Myanmar) currently living in the Ban Nai Soi and Mae Hong Son areas plus to the poor children who live in Thailand.
Location: Ban Nai Soi village , Mae Hong Son province, Thailand
Volunteer Work: We are seeking enthusiastic individuals that wish to volunteer their time and effort to make a positive contribution to the students at the BNSCLC. In order to teach at the BNSCLC you will need a positive attitude, an open mind, and the patience required to understand and work within a different culture. While we don�t have any specific requirements regarding your qualifications we are hoping to attract qualified teachers of ESL. Even if you don�t have any experience teaching we still strongly encourage you to apply. In its first year the BNSCLC was lucky enough to have several volunteers that had very limited prior teaching experience but still proved to be great instructors. It would benefit the students much more if we were able to find volunteers that could stay for several months but we ask for at least two months commitment to teaching.

Move Lanna is a volunteer dispatch programme which works alongside Always Reading Caravan Association (ARC), and organisation created in Phrao, Thailand to promote the love of reading and reach far out schools in rural villages. Move Lanna has built connections with small, local and rural NGO’s and organisations who are also looking for volunteer support. We help to place volunteers on different programmes and a small cost, and the small profit we make goes directly back into ARC.

Filmmakers Without Borders (FWB) is a non profit arts organization that sends filmmakers and art educators overseas to teach filmmaking, media literacy, and technology to underserved students in Chang Mai, Thailand. Think of it as PeaceCorps for filmmakers.

Volunteer Work: FWB is currently recruiting qualified filmmakers and educators to teach filmmaking & media literacy to underserved youth. Applicants should have experience working with youth, teaching/mentoring, and be experienced in film/media arts. Participants work directly in overseas classrooms and teach local students how to make short films and other multimedia projects.

Cost: All of FWB’s programs are 100% fully funded. FWB covers the cost of housing, international travel, food, equipment, and evacuation insurance for 1 full year.
Kids Home Foundation is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious, organization that supports about 700 children in need and their families in the slums of Chiang Mai Province (Northern Thailand). Through specifically tailored educational programs and flexible individual support, Kids Home protects endangered children, allows families to becoming self-sustainable and gives opportunities for a better future.

Youth International is an experiential learning program that combines rugged international travel, inter-cultural exchange, home stays with local families, volunteer community service work, and outdoor adventure. Teams of up to 14 people between the ages of 18 and 25 travel together with two group leaders. For a full 3-month semester, they explore three different countries in one region of the world. Programs begin in September and February.
Location: Thai locations: Bangkok and the Southern Islands
Volunteer Work: We are looking for Team Leaders for our Asia program. Responsibilities of the Team Leaders include developing portions of the trip plans, training group members for participation in the program, handling day-to-day logistics while on the road, counselling team members through developing world learning experiences, and maintaining a functional team while leading individual growth through a variety of programs and activities. Team Leaders must have extensive experience in travelling, living, studying, volunteering and working in the countries through which the group travels (Thailand, India and Nepal). Team Leaders must also have strong leadership experience working with groups.
Commitment: 13 weeks
Cost: All expenses paid for, including all flights, travel, and living costs while overseas. Plus a stipend starting at US$2000, based on experience.
Panya Project aims to be an integrated example of sustainable living, using earthen building, permaculture, organic gardening, yoga, meditation, music, dance, and lots of laughter, to bring balance to the lives of those involved, as well as bring about a better world
Location: Mae Taeng, Chiang Mai
Volunteer Work: It is our goal to live, breath and practice Permaculture every day of our life and we are very eager to share as much of our knowledge as possible. Our daily activities include organic gardening that promotes ecological diversity and healthy food production, food forestry where we mimic natural forest systems to create an abundance of food, fibre and fodder. Natural buildings is also a big part of our daily life, come and learn traditional and experimental building techniques with natural materials, while we build new structures and maintain existing ones.
